LUCAS STOCK INDEX
The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) rose 1.04% during what would normally be the fifth period of trading in July 2020. The stocks of five companies were traded, with 61,325 shares changing hands. There were two Climbers and no Tumblers. The stocks of the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry (BTI) rose 6.06% on the sale of 100 shares and the stocks of Banks DIH (DIH) rose 2.63% on the sale of 35,545 shares. In the meanwhile, the stocks of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), Republic Bank Limited (RBL), and the Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) remained unchanged on the sale of 23,226 shares, 2,100 shares and 354 shares, respectively. The LSI closed at 616.80.
