Guyana yesterday recorded fourteen new COVID-19 cases which now takes the country’s total active cases to 357 of which 138 were recorded in the first nine days in August.
The latest cases are said to be from regions 7, 9 and 4. The total number of confirmed cases is now 568.
According to Regional Health Officer (RHO) for region 8, Dr. Chrissundra Abdool-Faizool, based on information she received, three cases are from Region 7, three from Region 4 and eight from Region 9.
