RadioShack Guyana on Friday opened its central store in the Fogarty’s building, in Georgetown, thereby establishing its third location since the electronics retailer first launched operations here in 2017.
Laverne Bakker, Director for the Commercial Operations for Unicomer Guyana, told this newspaper that the opening of the location was delayed due to COVID-19.
However, Bakker said since things are getting back to normal, they have decided to launch the store, which will serve digital needs, including laptops, cellphones and ‘back to school’ items. There are stores at the Giftland Mall and at the Lucky Dollar Store on Regent Street.
Roberta Ferguson, Unicomer Guyana Marketing Officer, briefly related that RadioShack has been serving the Guyanese community with the best in electronics and she
called the extension of operations with a third location testimony to the great service they provide to the community and customers.
