The police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a 26-year-old Parika, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) resident who is wanted for two offences including escaping from lawful custody.
In a wanted bulletin issued yesterday, the police said that Deodat Jaipaul also known as ‘Davendra Singh’ is wanted for questioning in relation to break and enter and larceny and escaping from lawful custody.
While the police bulletin did not provide any details, Stabroek News was informed that Jaipaul was being kept in custody at the Leonora Police Station for break and enter and larceny when he allegedly escaped on August 2nd.
