The Ministry of Health this afternoon said that a 47-year-old woman has died of COVID-19.
She passed away at the Georgetown Public Hospital. She is the 31st fatality from the virus.
The ministry says that it is in contact with the family and relatives to facilitate contact tracing and rapid assistance to everyone who may have been exposed. The Ministry is asking that patient confidentiality be respected.
