Guyana yesterday recorded 44 more cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), taking the total number of confirmed cases to 925.
This is according to the Ministry of Health COVID-19 dashboard, which was posted on the Ministry’s Facebook page yesterday afternoon.
Of the total confirmed cases, 457 are male and 468 are female.
The dashboard also revealed that there 11 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 74 persons in institutional isolation, 383 persons at home isolation and 79 persons in institutional quarantine.
Additionally, it was stated 426 persons have recovered even though the Chief Medical officer Dr. Shamdeo Persaud on Friday stated that 433 persons had recovered.
