Thirty-two persons were arrested in Region Six yesterday for breaching COVID-19 restrictions as total positive cases in the region jumped to 10.
According to information gathered, a nurse in Region Six yesterday tested positive.
This newspaper was told that police ranks went to Number 19 Village, Corentyne where 21 persons including the owner of the rum shop they were imbibing at were arrested.
The police then proceeded further up the Corentyne where 11 other persons were arrested.\
According to information gathered, all of the persons have been placed on $10,000 bail and are expected to appear before court soon.
