Four persons were arrested at Number 78 Village, Corentyne after police made a discovery of three unlicensed guns and ammunition yesterday.
A senior police source told Stabroek News that police ranks after receiving information proceeded to the location where they discovered a rifle, pistol and a shotgun.
Additionally, the source said that a quantity of ammunition was also discovered.
As a result, the four persons who were present at the house during the search were arrested and taken to the Springlands Police Station where they are being held.
