The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) which was to have held its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 28, postponed it in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a notice, the bank said that “After considering the continued health impacts of the Coronavirus…, the well-being of shareholders, employees and the public at large and in keeping with governmental orders and guidance”, the board had decided to postpone the AGM until further notice.
