Dear Editor,
The murder of the two young boys has sent shockwaves around the nation and in the diaspora. The perpetrator (s) must be brought to justice. The death penalty is an acceptable sentence.
Minister Benn is right, “it was a vicious crime” as stated in the article `Three now in custody over murder …’ (SN Sep 7). An expedited investigation and justice is required.
Their killing was brutal, despicable, atrocious, and gruesome. Just on hearing it, not even viewing the video being circulated, makes one squirm uncomfortably. It is hair raising.
The horrific murders sparked mass protests even in the midst of Covid. There are justifiable cries for justice. I applaud the President for promising a swift investigation and justice.
