The Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday warned about the blocking of roads and setting of fires to people’s property.
The warning came days after what started out as a peaceful protest on Sunday, over the murders of teenaged cousins Isiah and Joel Henry, degenerated with road users being attacked and a number of houses being torched and stoned.
The main access road in the regions was blocked with old machinery, pieces of wood and tyres at several locations, including at Number 5, Bellevue, Number 28, Number 40 and Hopetown, resulting in the disruption of traffic.
