A Kilcoy, Corentyne fisherman was fatally stabbed last evening.
Dead is Alexander Yhap, also known as ‘John’, 25, who sustained at least three stab wounds.
The suspect, who also resides in the same area, is presently on the run.
According to relatives, the two were at a Superbet location in the area when a fight ensued and led to the stabbing.
Yhap’s relatives said it was the third time the two were involved in a fight over the last two weeks.
The deceased sustained an injury to his chin in a previous fight.
