Stafanie Taylor’s team defeated Deandra Dottin’s team by eight runs as the West Indies Women’s team got into action with their first practice match yesterday.
The eighteen players were divided into two squads and Taylor’s team took first strike and posted 131/6 from their 20 overs.
Taylor led the way with an unbeaten knock of 71 from 52 balls which included nine fours.
She got support from Britney Cooper who made 24.
