The Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed the deaths of two persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), taking the country’s death toll to 64.
The latest casualties were identified as a 71-year-old man from Region One, who was receiving care at a medical facility, and a 63-year-old man from Region Four.
In a press release, the ministry said samples were collected from both at the time of admission and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
