Despite Kaieteur International B finishing in the penultimate spot of the Scarborough Cricket League First Division tournament, Matthew Nandu ended the season as the most prolific batsman.
Statistically, the former Guyana under-17 top order batsman secured an average of 106, the highest among all batsmen while accumulating 318 runs in four innings. His tally sits comfortably as the most by any batsman playing in the tournament having scored one ton and two half centuries. Also, Nandu’s 146 in his first match of the competition was the highest individual score.
Nandu capped off the season on a high, scoring 80 but Kaieteur International B suffered their fifth loss after surrendering to United Titans by a three-run margin on Sunday.
