Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Royston Andries-Junor last evening confirmed the shooting incident, which occurred around 6.40pm.
He said the suspect, a 27-year-old resident of Meadowbrook Gardens, who is known to the police was arrested and is presently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
