Biker dies after Diamond accident

A man died  on Sunday after he lost control of his motorcycle and fell onto the road in the vicinity of Demerara Distillers Limited at Diamond, East Bank Demerara.

Marlon Fiedtkou, 40 of 14 Delph Street, Campbellville, Georgetown, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).

A police statement said the accident occurred at about 5.45 pm while Fiedtkou was riding a motorcycle, bearing registration number CG 3100, along the western carriageway of Diamond Public Road, East Bank Demerara. He lost control and fell onto the road surface, suffering injuries about his body as a result.
