An Essequibo Coast family is now in mourning after a trip to a beach ended in a drowning on Sunday.
Humal Jaggernauth, 25, of 3 Public Road, Spring Garden, Essequibo Coast, who was an employee of Hakh Rice Investment, was found yesterday morning after a search was conducted to recover his body.
A police statement said around 11.30 am on Sunday, Jaggernauth and 25 of his relatives left his residence in a wooden vessel, on their way to the beach.
