The Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha (GHDS) yesterday said that it will be presenting its annual Diwali motorcade in virtual format this year because of the COVID-19 restrictions – a first in 46 years.
In a statement, GHDS urged the public to join it on the eve of Diwali – Friday November 13th at 8pm on Television and Facebook for a “spectacular” Diwali celebration featuring performances by outstanding artistes specially produced for Diwali 2020 along with flashbacks of the outstanding floats and scenes from previous motorcades.
The production will feature performances of prominent artistes from Guyana and overseas as well as videos and highlights of previous motorcades, GHDS said.
