The National Toshaos’ Council Conference will not be held this year as a result of to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was disclosed by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, Sharon Hicks, according to the Department of Public Information (DPI).
DPI in a release yesterday said that Hicks stated that a team headed by the Minister of Amerindian Affairs Pauline Sukhai, will instead, visit the various regions and meet the village leaders there.
