The Guyana Power and Light (GPL) today said that parts of the Essequibo River island of Leguan will experience a six-hour blackout on Sunday, October 25th.
In an advisory, GPL said that customers will experience an interruption of electricity from 8.30 am to 2. 30 pm.
The advisory said that the following areas on the island would be affected: Enterprise, Blenheim, Endeavour, Amsterdam and Canefield.
GPL said the interruption is required for network maintenance.
