The police are probing the suspected suicide yesterday of 15-year-old Ahren Singh. (Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story had a different name for the deceased.)
Singh is the son of the presidential candidate for The Citizens’ Initiative, Rondha-Ann Lam.
The incident is reported to have occurred at 2.45 pm at the boy’s residence at Triumph on the East Coast of Demerara. The boy was found with a gunshot wound to the head, the police said.
