Following the confirmation of multiple cases of COVID-19 in St Cuthbert’s Mission, travel restrictions were imposed on the community to help curb the spread of the disease.
The travel restrictions are a joint effort between the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the St Cuthbert’s Mission Village Council.
According to an official from the Health Ministry, who asked not to be named, the community recorded 91 COVID-19 cases within two weeks. Presently, he added, the situation is under control as no one is showing any COVID-19 related symptoms. Hampers were distributed to the residents of the community on Friday.
