Talented fringe Guyanese cricketers, Raymond Perez and Ronaldo Ali-Mohamed have inked sponsorship deals with Williamson Boucher Cricket, an English-base West Yorkshire cricket brand.
The brand, according to his website, said it is specialised in delivering quality, customised English willow cricket bats, hand-made in England. They have extended their reach by sponsoring the two high rated young Guyanese.
“We are delighted to announce the sponsorship of Raymond Peter Perez and Ronaldo Ali Mohamed to the WB Brand,” the company said via its social media while describing both men as fine young players with bright futures.
Both players have had stellar under-19 careers for Guyana which propelled them into the West Indies under – 19 side to contest the 2018 ICC under -19 World Cup in New Zealand.
Perez unfortunately did not feature because of injury but the gifted right-hander has been a reliable match-winner for the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC); he is looking to break in the national side.
Ali-Mohamed, on the other hand, is a product from the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), who was handed two caps for Guyana during the 2019 regional Super 50 tournament.
