President Irfaan Ali today announced a two-week bonus for all healthcare professionals as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said that it will be paid before the end of the year. Health care workers have been pressing for a risk allowance and other benefits in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The President was speaking at the launch of the retrofitting of the Leonora Cottage Hospital.
