The body of a Windsor Forest youth who went missing on Sunday while setting fishing hooks washed ashore yesterday morning.
Seventeen-year-old labourer, Surendra Singh had accompanied two other youths on the exercise when he encountered difficulties and disappeared,
The sister of the deceased, Anna Mohamed told this newspaper that she, her brothers and a friend found the body. She said that this was not the first time Singh had gone out into the Atlantic Ocean to set fish hooks. This despite not knowing how to swim.
According to Mohamed, their father was also at the seawall when the incident occurred and he along with another fisherman hurried to rescue the teens but they were unable to find Surendra.
Meanwhile, the two youths who had accompanied Surendra to set the hooks were on Sunday evening released from police custody.
