A Crabwood Creek, Upper Corentyne construction worker died yesterday after he slammed into a cow along the public road around 11 pm on Saturday.
Dead is Akram Hack, 21, of Grant 79 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne.
According to information gathered, Hack was proceeding home on his motorcycle when he collided with a cow on the Crabwood Creek Public Road. As a result he fell onto the road and sustained injuries about his body.
He was rushed in an unconscious state to the Skeldon Public Hospital from where he was prepared for transfer to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital.
However, while en route, the ambulance was forced to stop at the Port Mourant Hospital after Hack’s condition worsened. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Hospital just around 2 am yesterday.
His body is presently at the Ramoo Funeral Home awaiting a post-mortem examination
His sister, Shayeeda Hack Samad yesterday told Stabroek News that her brother was a very “fun loving, outgoing and friendly person”.
She said, “He just loved life and was living his life to the fullest”.
