Vriesland boy gets $500,000 for kidney transplant

Vitality Incorporated on Saturday donated $500,000 to a Region Three resident to offset the cost of a kidney transplant for her son, according to the Department of Public Information (DPI).

Director,  Abbas Hamid, who was accompanied by Minister within the Ministry of Public Works,  Deodat Indar presented the sum to Nadie Budwah at her Vriesland home.

Budwah, who is also her son’s donor, was grateful for the sum.  She said her son had been receiving dialysis over the past four months.  “It has been so hard. For the past four months I have been so stressed out. So, they giving me a donation it means a whole lot for me. It has eased my headache,” she said.
