There were two more deaths yesterday and the Ministry of Health (MoH) confirmed forty-two new COVID cases taking the total number of confirmed cases to 6,258.
The new cases were reported from four regions: region 4 with 11 new cases, region 5 (16 new cases), region 8 (2 new cases), and region 10 recorded 13 new cases.
Four persons are currently patients in the Intensive Care Unit, 28 in institutional isolation, 616 in home isolation and 16 in institutional quarantine.
Meanwhile, the two latest deaths which were announced by the MoH on Tuesday to be an 88-year-old man from region 7 and a 68-year-old-woman from region 4 took COVID-related fatalities to 162.
To date, 36,660 COVID tests have been done.
