The Hilbert Foster-led Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) at the weekend honoured former Guyana and West Indies opening batsman, Clayton Lambert, and a crop of their current cricket ambassadors, who have either represented Guyana and/or the West Indies.
Lambert, according to the board, received the highest Award, Tribute to Heroes.
“BCB President Hilbert Foster described the former national and West Indies opening batsman as an outstanding Berbice hero and positive role model,” the board revealed in a press release, noting that award was handed over by vice-president, Albert Smith.
