Eighteen new COVID-19 cases were yesterday recorded after 285 more persons were tested for the virus.
This was shown in the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard. The 18 new cases increased the total number of positive cases in the country to 6,319. As such the total number of persons tested to date now stands at 38,018.
Five persons remain patients at the country’s COVID-19 ICU while 26 persons are within institutional quarantine.
A total of 5,809 persons have recovered from the virus to date.
