The woman then proceeded to work where she noticed the man, who is also based at the same location, entering the compound.
She then hurriedly left work and boarded a car with the intention of returning to the station but the man armed with the two knives then entered the same car.
According to a source, another taxi driver then arrived and whipped out a cutlass and assisted the woman by transporting her to the station.
However, while there, it is alleged that the man rushed into the station where he began threatening the woman.
The source added that officers attempted to apprehend the man but he escaped into the town.
A search was then launched and the man was arrested shortly after.
A source had confirmed, that the man was arrested with two knives, one if which had Tuesday’s date stamped on, and a substance suspected to be poisonous.
