All National Insurance Scheme (NIS) offices will be fully reopened with effect from tomorrow, January 4, 2021.
Tomorrow will also mark the commencement of pensions’ week for the month of January, 2021, the NIS has said.
In a statement, the Scheme explained that to ensure a safe and healthy environment, all COVID-19 protocols will be observed. In this regard, it said all persons entering the compound of any of the NIS facilities will be required to visit the hand washing stations or sanitizing dispensers that are installed at the entrance of its compounds, and each person will be required to take a temperature test on entering the compound.
It added that tents and chairs will be set up to accommodate customers and facilitate social distancing, while members of the public though permitted to enter the building will be monitored to avoid overcrowding.
