Seven new COVID cases were recorded yesterday according to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) dashboard which takes the total confirmed cases to 6,358. Guyana has so far recorded twenty-six new cases for the new year.
The seven new cases have been reported for regions: 3, 4, 6, and 2.
Currently 3 persons are patients in the COVID ICU, 9 persons are institutionally isolated, 17 institutionally quarantined, and 283 persons isolated at home.
A total of 38,622 persons have been tested to date. The death toll remains at 164 according to the dashboard.
