More students, teachers and auxiliary staff have tested positive for the coronavirus upon their return to public schools around the country, the Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony disclosed yesterday.
During the daily COVID-19 update, Anthony informed that a total of 30 students have tested positive since the reopening of schools on January 4th.
The minister on Thursday had shared that 19 students, 10 teachers and eight dorm staff, had tested positive. But in yesterday’s address, he said, “As of today we have 30 students who have tested positive, we have 11 teachers tested positive and 13 axillary staff from dormitory schools across the country.”
