The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday disclosed that another person who was infected with COVID-19 has died.
The latest fatality is a 65-year-old male from Region Four. As a result of this, the death toll has risen to 170.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 dashboard revealed that 14 new cases were recorded in the country yesterday bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6, 588. Eight of the new cases are from Region Four, 1 from Region Three, 2 from Region Five and 3 from Region Eight.
The new cases were detected from 140 tests done yesterday.
Additionally, it was revealed that 3 persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
