A man was yesterday charged with raping a girl, 13, and released on $150,000 bail.
Collin Venture, 30, was read the rape charge by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan during an in-camera hearing at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Courts.
Venture was not required to plead to the charge which alleges that during the month of September, 2020 he engaged in sexual activities with a child under the age of 16. He was released on $150,000 bail. The matter has been adjourned until January 18, 2021.
