Dear Editor,
I read with much interest the news items about an individual confessing to the gruesome murders of the Henry boys. It is beyond any shadow of a doubt that those innocent, precious kids were unjustifiably, brutally murdered. The most important thing in this tragedy, for me, is for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. They must face the consequences for their sickening actions.
That is why I am interested in the credibility of the supposed/alleged “confession” from one of the accused and charged persons. At a very minimum, I’d expect that the Guyana Police Force (GPF) will have in their possession, the much debated “confession” from one of the accused persons, as part of their evidence. That said, does the GPF have that “confession” on video? I am not asking them to release same. I’m simply trying to find out if this “confession” can stand up in a court of law.
At the end of the day, we should all try to get justice for the Henry boys and not just charge people to pacify the public.
Yours faithfully,
Nicholas NickTafari De Castro
