The Support and Heal Network, a partnership between the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security and faith faith-based leaders to address social issues among vulnerable groups and communities across Guyana, was formalised yesterday.
A release from the Ministry of Human Services said that during a virtual meeting, Vindhya Persaud, the subject Minister congratulated the leaders for their commitment to work with the Ministry to execute its mandate.
The release said that the objectives of the Support and Heal Initiative are to make recommendations and devise strategies to effectively support the Ministry’s work on social issues and developmental opportunities for vulnerable groups and communities.
