A number of communities around Guyana are being monitored over spikes in COVID-19 cases.
Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony yesterday stated there is ongoing monitoring in several communities that have seen spikes in cases in previous days. He mentioned that health officials are continuing to monitor the Orealla and Siparuta communities in Region Six.
“We have taken some measures basically to restrict movement and to work with the people there and so forth and we saw (cases) coming down” he said.
