A man was on Thursday discovered at his Coldingen, East Coast Demerara residence lying motionless on his bed.
A police report informed that Khemraj Bhim, 50 of Track A Coldingen, East Coast Demerara was found by neighbours at about 7.35 am.
According to the report, the deceased lived alone and was last seen on Wednesday at approximately 4 pm by a neighbour whom he had asked for $200 to purchase ‘pressure’ tablets.
On Thursday morning at about 7, persons called out for Bhim but received no answer.
This led to the neighbours gaining access to the house where Bhim was found lying motionless on his bed.
The police were summoned and the body examined for marks of violence but none was found.
The deceased suffered from hypertension and was a patient of the Enterprise Health Centre.
The body was escorted to the Enterprise Health Centre where the doctor on duty pronounced him dead.
The deceased was subsequently taken to Jerricks Funeral Home. A post-mortem examination is to be done.
