The partially decomposed body of a mason was late yesterday afternoon discovered in his Number 70 Village, Corentyne house.
Dead is Robby Sukhdeo, 33, mason/labourer of Number 70 Village, Corentyne.
Relatives last evening relayed that Sukhdeo was found around 5.30 pm lying face down in the house with a wound on his forehead.
According to his brother, Teddy Sukhdeo, 37, relatives last saw his brother on Monday “walking through the street”.
A brother who lives in the same street as the deceased decided to check on him yesterday around 5.30 pm after he had not seen him passing to go to work for several days.
It was then that Sukhdeo was discovered lying face down in his one-storey concrete house.
According to the brother, the relatives who found the deceased noticed a wound on his forehead.
The police were summoned and as of last evening around 8 ranks were at the scene making arrangements to have the body removed.
The brother said that the deceased suffered from no illnesses but would often imbibe.
Sukhdeo was the youngest of three siblings.
