A teen was on Monday held at gunpoint and robbed by two bandits at Fox Hill Foot, Half Mile Wismar, Linden.
A police report stated that at about 22:00 hours, the 18-year-old student was sitting at a street corner with a friend, when they were approached by two men carrying handguns.
The bandits pointed their guns at their victims and instructed them not to move.
The student was relieved of his ZTE Android cellular phone valued at $21,000.
The report added that the victim’s friend, however, did not give up his phone, but instead, threw it into a neighbouring yard. This apparently angered one of the robbers who struck him several times with his gun.
As a result of the beating, he suffered injuries to his back.
The bandits escaped on foot.
