The skeletal remains of a person were yesterday discovered at Wisroc, Linden, Region Ten, by a woman while she was weeding.
Police Commander of Region Ten, Superintendent Hugh Winter confirmed the gruesome discovery to the Stabroek News. He said that according to information he received, a person’s skeletal remains were found at Wisroc, Linden. He disclosed that the remains were discovered by a woman who related to the police that she was weeding in the area, which is a short distance away from her home, when she saw the remains.
The commander said that the woman reported that she was weeding the place to “do something there”. He emphasised that that was all the police knew at the time of the call which came just after 5:30 pm.
Winter informed that the police are currently investigating the matter and will be issuing a press release on the situation.
