The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has instructed the Guyana Police Force to institute charges against a police constable who fatally struck and killed a Golden Grove woman while driving a Guyana Police Force minibus.
Police Commander of Region 4 (b) Senior Superintendent Linden Isles, when contacted, stated that the constable is expected to make his court appearance shortly in connection with the death of Dulmattie Boodlall.
Boodlall, 58, of Golden Grove, was on her way to work when she was struck down at Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara, as she attempted to cross the public road on January 5.
