The police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred yesterday at about 3.30 pm on Arapaima Street, East La Penitence involving a motorcycle #CK 7533 owned and ridden by Kemston Richards, a 26-year-old resident of Plum Park Sophia and two pedestrians a 15-year-old and 24-year-old Kevin Fletcher, of East La Penitence.
Enquiries disclosed that motorcycle #CK 7533 was proceeding North on Arapaima Street a fast rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle and with a utility pole.
The motorcyclist then fell on the roadway and sustaining injuries about his body, whilst his motorcycle traveled further and hit the pedestrians.
The motorcyclist was picked up in an unconscious state by public-spirited citizens and taken the Georgetown Public Hospital Cooperation, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor on duty.
The 15-year-old pedestrian was seen and examined by doctors on duty at the said hospital and later sent away.
