(Trinidad Guardian) Negus George, of Seventh Street, Gooding Trace in Malabar, has been formally charged with the murder of 23-year-old Andrea Bharatt.
Police laid the charge against the 24-year-old, yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, George’s girlfriend, a 37-year-old from Malabar, is expected to be formally charged with receiving stolen property.
Bharatt was kidnapped at King Street, Arima, on January 29th, and her body found dumped off a precipice six days later in the Heights of Aripo on February 4th.
