The Ministry of Health yesterday informed that 19 more COVID-19 cases have been confirmed, bringing the total number in the country to 8,357.
These cases flowed from 843 new tests.
Three of the new cases are from Region Three, 10 from Region Four, 1 from Region Seven, 2 from Region Nine, and 3 from Region Ten.
According to the daily COVID-19 dashboard, there are 9 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 42 persons in institutional isolation, 463 in home isolation and 12 persons in institutional quarantine. From the total number of cases recorded to date, 189 persons who were infected with COVID-19 have died and 7629 persons have recovered.
