Tenders were on Wednesday opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board for the rental of a warehouse for the storage of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies by the Georgetown Public Hospital and for the procurement of pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies by the Guyana Defence Force (GDF).
The project by the GPHC attracted two bidders with the highest bid being over $470 million while the highest bid for the project by the GDF stands at $301 million.
