Construction leaders, KPX2 Hollow and Design Blocks has come on board with the Flying Ace Cycling Club as a sponsor.
At a simple ceremony last week, representative of the block company of 195 MCC Housing Scheme, New Amsterdam, Marvin Clarke, said that the decision to come on board with the cycling club was in keeping with the company’s mandate of improving community standards and assisting the youths in exploring their full potential in sports.
Clarke, a former footballer, said that he will continue to support the club as the need arises, adding that he was looking forward to seeing other New Amsterdam businesses coming on board and supporting sports.
Executive of the club, Randolph Roberts, said that the intervention by the businessman was timely and that he welcomed his impetus.
Roberts thanked the company for its support and indicated that the team will be putting in the work to show that they have value for their money.
According to the cycling coach, the team is currently preparing for the Cheddi Jagan Memorial race, which is expected to be held later this month.
